Bobby Howard (born June 1, 1964) is a former American football running back who played two seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played college football at Indiana University under a full football scholarship after attending Tompkins High School in Savannah, Georgia. Was originally a 12th round pick of the Eagles in the 1986 NFL Draft,
but was waived in mid-season and signed as a free agent by the Buccaneers in October of that year. Gained 47 of his career 210 yards in the opening-day blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons in 1987 and scored his only pro TD against the Saints in Vinny’s first pro start. Was named President of the NFLPA – Atlanta chapter in 2017.
